First of all, I have recently been reading Larry Elder’s "Stupid Black Men". All I can say is GET IT! In this book, Elder slaughters more sacred cows than a pack of hungry wolves in India. The MSM seems to be trying to keep this book a secret. Read it and send the word out into cyberspace, The Race Hustlers have been EXPOSED! Second of all, I apologize for my lack of output. I am in the process of moving Chief (my horse) to a different stable and getting it up and running as spring, weather permitting, signals the beginning of the busy season. Third of all, since The GOP nomination is settled and I haven’t had a dog in that hunt since Mitt dropped out, I will cover a variety of subjects that have caught my attention.

   Is it me or does anyone else remember Plastic Surgery Pelosi SCREECHING that there were bigger problems facing America than Baseball Players using steroids when President Bush mentioned it in a State of The Union Address? Now all of a sudden, Henry Waxman has decided it is JOB #1. I think The Liberals are/were grasping at straws for ANY accomplishment they could point to and settled on this as a slam dunk. As for the vehemence of Waxman, I think when Waxman looks at a masculine, athletic, type of guy, he suffers from TERMINAL Pen!s Envy. One look at Waxman will tell you what I say is true.

   Is it me or does Hal Donahue seem to be kind of on edge lately? He used to be kind of naively BDS, lately it is all ‘you people’ and ‘You Christians’. He acts like Shrillary took out her losing streak on him. Whatever, he richly deserves his Townhall Sobriquet, Hal Doofus. Speaking of Doofuses, Wobbie POSITIVELY has a MAN CRUSH on The McAmnesty McMidget. BTW, whatever it is you vets have on Robert is starting to make him CRACK like a 3 minute egg. Again I say "Whatever", he is another Elitist Doofus without any guts. A week or so back, Robert was saying how he was All State in Football while in high school. MarinesDad and I both offered to suit up and take on Robert in a little Nutcracker Drill. ALL OF A SUDDEN, he had to go on Emergency Night Patrol. Cowardice, another Cherished Liberal Value.

   This may be an old song, but I GIVE YOU MY WORD that this is the only time I will mention it this year. We TownHallers should get together in the flesh on a(n) Annual/Semi-Annual/Quadrennial basis. I know we have JPSavage’s Chat Room, but it would be nice to get together and break bread with people who have come to mean SO MUCH to each of us. I know within a couple of hours or less of me are Kilroy, Anne, The Crawfish and Icedog. With modern technology, we could link up several such Pow-Wow’s. We also might nudge Townhall to have a national convention or several local conventions. The social aspect would be GREAT, but consider this also. If we DO NOT start finding some young/younger Conservative Leaders, then we can expect to gored by more RINO’s. you might ask, " GT, why look amongst ourselves?" My answer would be, "Why the he!! wouldn’t we?" If you want a drink of water, you go to a well!

   Last but not least, I recently drew blood AGAIN in my crusade to keep a Conservative Voice in The Letters to The Editor of the newspapers of upper Appalachia. For any newcomers, a breif explanation follows. There are 2 newspaper in the area I grew up in. The Washington Observer-Reporter and The Wheeling News Register. Liberal College Students DOMINATE the Letters to the Editor of both papers in a VERY conservative area. So I have taken it upon myself to periodically pick a scrap on the Letters to The Editor page of both newspapers. The Liberal Letters ALWAYS ramp up when college kids are on break. These papers are small and don’t get a lot of letters. So they save up the letters they do get and spread them out. 100% of my letters have been printed. Anyway, during January the Liberal Brats were GOING NUTS in both of these papers. So I saved a fistful of these letters and picked a fistful (no pun intended) of fights ALL AT THE SAME TIME! Here is the letter that appeared in The Washington Observer Reporter on March 1, 2008:

   Lately there have been a number of letters from Liberals crying about how evil Capitalism is. One writer claims people who run businesses for profit make money over the broken bodies of their workers. It seems to me they were told when they were hired what their duties would be and how much they would be paid. If these terms weren’t agreeable, why did they take the job? Another writer says businesses should cut back expenses and donate the money saved to needy families. Wouldn’t it be better to hire a member of these needy families, as a steady income would help alleviate their need?

   Supposedly it is liberals who are against big business. I wonder what businesses Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Jay Rockefeller (Standard Oil) are against? Another writer harkens back to the Jimmy Carter era and says American should learn to get by with less, specifically gasoline. There are oceans of untapped oil in America, but Enviro-Nazis have made it cost prohibitive to drill or refine it. While America’s population has grown, drilling and refining of domestic oil has receded to the point that we are at the mercy of OPEC for 50 percent of our oil. Economics 101 says that the more of a product that is available, the cheaper it will be. Producing more oil will bring the price down faster than producing less.
