First of all, HELLO to everyone! I haven’t been around much as my sister, mother and niece were in town for the 2008 ASICS Northeast Volleyball Qualifier. My niece’s team qualified and made it to the final 8. More importantly, my niece was seen by NUMEROUS college coaches and between academics & athletics, will probably get a free ride to a good college. Second of all, Monica faces another complicated surgery. Any & all prayers for her would be DEEPLY appreciated. Third of all, I recently checked ‘Boone’ by Robert Morgan out of the Library. It is a detailed look at The Life and Times of Daniel Boone and contains LOTS of facts that I was unaware of. It also puts Daniel Boone’s actions into context with the times (French & Indian War, Revolutionary War, etc). An excellent read and well worth your time. Last but not least, I received LOTS of support for my suggestion that we have a TownHall Convention. My thought was we get AS MANY FOLKS AS POSSIBLE together at GOE and show TownHall that there is support for such a gathering. Any comments, ideas or suggestions on this train of thought? Now, onward to the fray.
We TownHallers have discussed CHERISHED LIBERAL VALUES at length. Among them are Substance Abuse, Promiscuity, Infidelity, Cowardice and Lying. Truth be told, these things happen among Conservatives also. IMHO, the difference is Liberals celebrate them as Freedom of Choice, Being Honest with Yourself or try to alleviate the consequences by shifting the blame to a dysfunctional home or some other Emotional Trauma. IN MOST CASES, Conservatives see these Pathologies as the products of Bad Luck, Bad Choices, Lack of Character or Outright Lying and take appropriate action to rectify the problem. Regardless, what was seen as a Glib Phrase for Denigrating Conservatives by she who uttered it is now OFFICIALLY added to the list. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I give you the newest addition to the aforementioned list of CHERISHED LIBERAL VALUES, The Willing Suspension of Disbelief.
To support my contention, I offer the following examples:
I. Barack Hussein Obama - Barack Hussein Obama has been a member of Reverend Wright’s Church for 20 years, yet he CLAIMS to have never heard Reverend Wright make ANY incendiary comments regarding America. Either Barack Hussein Obama sleeps through Reverend Wright’s Sermons, Barack Hussein Obama NEVER attends Church or Barack Hussein Obama is LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH! Shortly after this controversy ERUPTED, Barack Hussein Obama went on TV and mouthed a few platitudes and right away, WSOD was back STRONGER THAN EVER!
II. Global Warming – Despite record cold winters, snowfall in areas that it is ALMOST unheard of (Dallas-Forth Worth & Baghdad to name 2) and the thickening of The Polar Ice Caps. Al Snore and his merry band of Drug Addled, Leftover Hippie, Tree Huggers soldier on with this Load of Peat Moss. What makes is worse is that despite MOUNTING EVIDENCE to the contrary, Newt Gingrich, McAmnesty McMidget and Pat Robertson seem to have bought into it. McMidget was DOA with Conservatives already. If Robertson and Gingrich have swallowed the Kool-Aid, they can expect to be treated like Hookers in Church by Conservatives. They have nobody to blame but themselves if they were STUPID ENOUGH to be taken in by WSOD!
III. Chelsea Clinton – She recently was asked about her Father’s Affair with Monica Lewinsky and claimed she had been to 70 college campuses and that was the first time she had heard that question. College Campuses have less to do with THINKING than with INDOCTRINATION in this day and age, so it is POSSIBLE! However, this means that either College Campuses engage in group WSOD, Chelsea Clinton is in Denial or the audiences where Chelsea Clinton speaks are HANDPICKED! Also, NOTHING was ever reported about ANY misadventures that Chelsea Clinton had in college. However, the Bush Twins couldn’t fart without it being trumpeted from The Roof of 30 Rock. In fairness to Chelsea Clinton, WSOD has been a part of her life since The Cradle. She was raised by 2 Adulterous, Leftover Hippies and the older she gets, the more she looks like Shrillary. By this point, WSOD is a Coping Strategy that helps her get through life.
IV. Hillary Clinton – Claims that SHE DIDN’T KNOW Bill was fooling around on her. HOW MANY women said they had affairs/were propositioned by Billary? Either ALL OF THEM WERE LYING or BILL WAS LYING, no other explanation is POSSIBLE! Shrillary Cankleton seems to have a TERMINAL CASE of WSOD as she can make HERSELF believe things that NEVER happened are in fact a part of her biography. I give you her story of playing High School Soccer in an era when Soccer was INVISIBLE in America. IMHO, Soccer should have remained so. Any game where 2-0 is a blowout is like watching grass grow. Also, the recent Snipergate SNAFU and her claim that Chelsea was jogging near Ground Zero on 09/11 show that WSOD is a CHRONIC Problem for Shrillary Cankleton.
So there you have it, The Dysfunctional Democrats have another Pathology to add to their list. It is unclear whether WSOD arises from DECADES of DRUG ABUSE by Drug Addled, Leftover Hippies or if it is SITUATIONAL/SLIDING SCALE OF ETHICS in Pursuit of Power that causes this condition. Either way, The Democrats have the Poster Children for this affliction running for President. The downside is that a STRONG Conservative would FLATTEN either of these 2 empty (pant)suits :) in 2008. As it is, the more The McAmnesty Midget talks, the less chance he has of winning. The upside is that Bobby Jindal HAS TO BE looking north and LICKING HIS CHOPS in anticipation of 2012 :)!
